Quad Injury

As an active instructor, I was showing a student how we do a "ninja run" when "twang" went a muscle in the front of my quad. Extremenly painful to touch, I could still walk but just. Getting home that night I immediately iced the area and put the leg up.
Seaching the internet I'm sure it is a strained Rectus Femoris muscle which is one of the 4 quad muscles. Quite a commom injury for soccer players and sprinters. Nearly 24 hours later, I have it strapped but are hobbling. Difficult to take class… Continue
